Now it's official. StackWorks is ISO 9001:2015 certified. A certificate confirms that the quality of our cloud services has been proven to meet customer requirements at a high level and is continuously being expanded.
This was preceded by a lot of intensive work. We introduced a quality management system that defines all our management, core and support processes and documents them in detail. This is a work with a total of 50 documentations. These serve as a basis for making our work comprehensible and in line with high-quality standards.
We had an independent auditor put whether this works in practice to the test. For one day, he put our quality management system and our actual processes in our office in St. Gallen through their paces. Point by point, he took StackWorks "under the microscope". He also confronted employees to make sure that everything was working as described. His subsequent feedback confirmed our work: The auditor quickly got a feel for our know-how and came to the conclusion: The quality of our services is right. StackWorks is well organized, so we can get the certificate. He had only a few suggestions for improving our quality management system, which we immediately put into practice. We are very happy about this assessment. After all, ISO 9001 certification is an internationally recognized proof of our quality thinking when we replace complex and expensive IT infrastructures with simple, secure, and cost-effective cloud services.
This benefits our customers as well as our employees and the company. Because the certificate is a guarantee for uniform, efficient work. One example: If someone is absent due to vacation or illness, business does not stop. Substitutions are clearly regulated and every employee knows where to find which information. The up-to-dateness of the information and its flow are guaranteed. We can continue to work efficiently and have more time for our customers. At the same time, this has a positive effect on employee satisfaction, as no one has to spend a long time searching or asking about the status of work and waiting for answers. New employees quickly become familiar with the processes. This is because onboarding can be mastered systematically and thoughtfully. Thus, it symbolizes an important milestone for further growth. All this is at the same time motivation for everyone to get involved in order to further improve the processes.
As part of this, I look forward to using my passion for quality to keep an eye on ensuring that the processes are lived every day and to perfecting them together with my colleagues. Then we can also master the independent audit with random samples in a year's time with flying colors.
