Google has linked the G Suite tools for communication and collaboration more efficiently and renamed the product Google Workspace. The new name clearly expresses Google's vision: to communicate and work together at any time from anywhere in the world.
A Chromebook is a slim, efficient laptop that runs on Chrome OS.
Google Workspace for Education provides cloud-based tools for schools and educational institutions. These include collaboration and communication apps such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar and Classroom. They can make their teaching future-proof and equal opportunities for all with Google Workspace for Education.
Google Classroom from "Google Workspace for Education" is an internet platform through which teachers can create assignments digitally and pass them on to students. The students work on the assignments on the computer and submit them electronically to the teacher. If questions arise, they can communicate with the teacher.
The framework agreement standardises and improves the legal and commercial provisions for the purchase and use of Google Workspace for Education. It gives schools additional security.
Gemini for Education is included in Google Workspace for Education. According to Google, the data is not used to train the models and is not reviewed by humans. Your school uses the Admin Console to determine who is allowed to use Gemini—for example, initially only teachers.
