How to switch from the free G Suite to Google Workspace

The end of April marks the end of the free version of G Suite. Although it has no longer been offered to new customers since December 2012 and is still being used diligently, the G Suite Legacy free edition will no longer be available as of May 1, as Google announced. For users, this means that they will have to switch to Google Workspace. This comes at a cost, but is worth it as it offers improved and additional features.
