February 2026 webinar recording: Highlights of Google Workspace & Gemini

In our webinar in February 2026, we'll take a look at the most exciting new features in Google Workspace and Gemini.
Seamless communication with Google Meet and Chat
Google has significantly upgraded its communication tools to break down language barriers and data silos. One outstanding feature in Google Meet is the new live audio translation. Whereas previously only subtitles were translated, Google Meet can now reproduce spoken language directly as translated audio with minimal delay.
Administrators also have the option of having Gemini transcribe meetings. This makes follow-up work much easier, as you can then ask the AI specific questions about the content of the meeting. Google Chat is also getting features that make everyday work more efficient.
Similar to private messaging apps such as WhatsApp, messages can now be easily forwarded to other spaces or people. The integration of emails is particularly practical: messages can be forwarded directly from the inbox to a chat for discussion within the team without losing context through copy-paste. Thanks to the new RSS feed app, news or status messages from systems are posted directly to the chat.
Smart management with Forms and Drive
Google Forms now finally offers the option to set time limits. You can define when the registration deadline is and no more responses will be accepted. In addition, the "Help me create" function now also helps in German to create complex forms using text commands alone.
There is a small but useful update for Google Drive: password-protected Excel files can now be opened directly in the preview without losing protection or having to download the file.
The core: Automation with Google Workspace Studio
Probably the biggest innovation is Google Workspace Studio. This is a no-code platform that enables employees to create their own automation workflows. The focus here is on the use of AI agents.
Example of an expense process: An employee sends a receipt by email. A specialized "extract agent" automatically reads relevant data such as the amount and VAT, enters this data in a structured format in a Google Sheet, and then notifies the employee via chat.
The advantage of this system lies in its specialization. While a general agent such as "Ask Gemini" is good for open-ended questions, specialized agents such as the "Extract Agent" work more precisely with structured data. This allows companies to automate complex processes without having to write a single line of code.
Gemini and NotebookLM: Better models and sources
The Gemini app now integrates the Gemini 3.0 and Flash models, which ensures faster and more accurate responses. The further development of NotebookLM is particularly interesting. The tool can now be used directly in the Gemini app as a "grounding" source.
This means that Geminibases itsanswers on the documents and notes that can be stored in NotebookLM. In addition, NotebookLM can convert unstructured data, such as video transcripts, into clean, structured tables at the touch of a button.
Creativity at the touch of a button: Google Vids (Flow)
It enables the creation of videos purely from text prompts or static images. For example, a dynamic time-lapse video can be generated from a photo of a dog and a short text command. It is ideal for quick storyboards or internal visualizations.
Conclusion on the highlights of Google Workspace & Gemini
The best thing to do is to watch the webinar recording directly. The updates from February 2026 clearly show where the journey is headed: away from isolated AI applications and toward integrated, autonomous workflows.
